Restarts, The - Outsider LP	The Restarts, formed in 1995, are a 3 piece punk band based in Hackney, East London. 12 years on and after 4 full length releases they have proven to be an independent, DIY force to be reckoned with. Over the last decade The Restarts have toured the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Brittany, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Czech Republic, USA and Canada building up a loyal fan base of international Punk Rock connoisseurs. The Restarts appeal ranges from young to old, street punk to the more politically aware activist movement. They derive their passion for aggressive punk music from social inadequacies and human indifference. Their sound has been categorized as fast, loud, snotty punk, musically they represent early punk from ska rhythms to the heavier aggressive sounds of Discharge, D.O.A. and Poison Idea. The new CD "Outsider" (self financed, self-recorded/ engineered and self-produced) finds the band honing their skills at writing catchy sing along punk anthems, packaged in a uniquely designed, plastic-free, recycled Digi-pack, complete with poster and lyric booklet.
